Queen Victoria
Queen Victoria was born on May 24, 1819, in London. Victoria became a queen when she was 18. William Lamb was her first Prime Minister, at the beginning he helped her.
Queen Victoria was the queen of the United Kindom of Great Britain and Ireland from 1837 to 1901. In the history of the British monarchy her reign was the longest after Queen Elisabeth II. Queen Victoria was the only child of George III. During her reign there were many expansions in culture, progress in industry, science and communication, and the railways and the London Underground were built. She was sacred empress of the Indies in 1876. In 1840, she married her cousin, Prince Albert.She died on January 22, 1901, at the age of 81.
