Sir Arthur Conan Doyle 's biography

Arthur Conan Doyle was born on May 22th 1869 in Edinburgh and died on July 7th 1930 in Crowborough. He came from an Roman Catholic family. He went to a Jesuit Primary School and at the age of 9 he was registred in Stonyhurt Middle School. But he left the school in 1875 and rejected Christianity to become agnostic. From 1876 to 1881, he studied medicine at Edinburgh College and began to write short stories. In February 1880 he enlisted on a ship as a health officer. He got his PhD in 1885. He started to write in 1882 about his character Sherlock Holmes with the first investigation entitleed “ A Study in Scarlet”.
