The siblings had created, from their childhood, a universe for them, where their characters could live all kinds of adventures. This imaginary world consisted of a territory with its government, its administration, its history, and even its newspapers. It was created thanks to the soldiers received by Branwell from his father. There were twelve soldiers and the four siblings chose one each and they game them life. All of the adventures in books written by the Brontë sisters tooke place in the imaginary world called Glass Town Confederacy.

Later, Emily and Anne created Gondal that is their kingdom, independent of the Glass town Confederacy in 1831. In 1834, Charlotte and Branwell created Angria, another imaginary kingdom. After that, Glass Town disappeared while allowing for Gondal and Agria.

The Brontë Sisters (with their brother at the beginning) were created an enormous empire with their imagination. Created a world to let’s play characters was a revolution for the literature. Charlotte, Emily and Anne have made a name for themselves thanks their talent and the success they have had.

Anne’s Agnes Grey, Emily’s Wuthering Heights and Charlotte’s Jane Eyre were published in 1847. This latest novel was one of the year’s best sellers.
