The Brontë family
The Brontë Family lived in Thornton, on the Yorkshire moors in the United Kingdom. After the death of Maria, their mother, in 1821, their Aunt Elizabeth came to look after the family.
Their father Patrick was an Anglican clergyman in the village of Haworth and he was not at home a lot. Elizabeth took care of the children.
During the six years after the death of their mother, the three girls were to stay at the Parsonage of Haworth and their creativity slowly grew.
