Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Arthur Conan Doyle was born on May 22th 1869 in Edinburgh. He came from an Roman Catholic family. He studied medicine in order to become doctor. At the beginning of his career, he did not have a great success as a doctor so he began to write. To pass time, he wrote his most successful novel by giving life to an emblematic character: Sherlock Holmes. He was going to live with him from 1887 to 1927.
