Jack the Ripper
Jack the ripper was the nickname of an English serial killer, who committed murders in the district of White Chapel. Today this case is not resolved yet, but there are many theories about who the killer was. This name appeared for the first time in 1888, in his letter “Dear boss” where he revealed his nickname, and which was sent to a press agency. As a consequence, this case had a big media coverage because Jack the Ripper sent many other letters. The exact number of victims is still unknown but it’s sure that Jack killed at least five prostitutes in a terrible way. All of these murders were called “the canonics murders”.
